THE BIG MISTAKE:
'I live in Paris since 16 years.' (No no no no no no no no!!!)
'Oh. Ahh! I live in Paris since 17 years!' (grrrr...)
'OK OK OK. I live in Paris for 16 years.
THE BEST ENGLISH:
'OK... I have lived in Paris for 16 years - Yeah!'
Another example:
'I work for Barclays since 3 years?' (No!)
'I work for Barclays for 3 years?' (mm-mm)
'I have worked for Barclays for 3 years!' (clapping)
